Installation steps:
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove liftgate upper, lower, and side trim panels and latch and lock actuators.
3. Disconnect the connector.
4. Pull out the retainer in the direction of the arrow.
5. Remove the liftgate switch.
6. Install in reverse order of removal.
