It is widely known that the factory suspension bolts used on the JK were the cheapest, poorest fitting thing they could get away with using. Many experience death wobble as a result of the factory suspension bolts. They used the same bolts used on other vehicles, one size fits many, everywhere they could to keep costs down by buying fewer bolts in bulk rather than using the best possible bolt for each location.
These are intended to be an upgrade to the factory bolts. The lower shock bolts in particular were fully threaded from the factory so they could be used in multiple locations on multiple vehicles. The problem with them is the threaded section grinds into the shock bushings making their already loose fit, due the thinner threaded section, worse in time. These bolts are shouldered in the section where they contact the shock bushings so they fit tighter, won't grind into the bushings and will reduce play in your suspension that could lead to death wobble.
