Trans-Dapt offers full selection of universal fit transmission cross members. These quality, durable units are available as a kit, with brace and mounting pads, or as the cross member alone. The universal design allows you to position your engine and transmission exactly where you need them. They eliminate the need to fabricate a rear cross member. These cross members support most standard and automatic transmissions in open channel frames with frame rail widths between 26 inches to 36 inches. Easy to use. Just cut the cross member to fit the frame rail distance. Built using sturdy .114 inch wall thickness tubing. Available with or without mounting pad. Complete kits include a 9442 mounting pad for use GM transmissions, but they also allow the use of 4716 mounting pad for Ford transmissions.
