How to Install 2−5/16" Ball: 1. Remove any plugs or covers above the ball socket in the middle of the truck bed; 2. With the handle of the 2-5/16" ball in the unlocked position, place the handle into the socket; 3. To put the 2-5/16" ball in the locked position, use the lever on the handle to unlock the handle, then rotate the handle downward until it locks; 4. When properly locked, the 2-5/16" ball will rotate in the socket but will not lift.
How to Install Safety Chain Anchor: 1. Remove any plugs or covers from the safety chain attachment point (behind the ball); 2. Lift the latch mechanism and rotate the ring while holding the base to place the anchor in the unlocked position; 3. Insert the latch cam into the attachment point slot; 4. Rotate the ring 90° until the latch mechanism rotates down to the locked position
