With it's shallow flute, ideal use is for finishing spindles, pens, and other small woodturning workpieces. Can also be used for facing cuts, shallow hollowing, and beading. Blade is made from M2 High Speed Steel. Total tool length is 15-1/4" with a 5-1/2" blade and 9-3/4" handle. Hardwood handle with brass ferrule.
