Oikawa Toru is the setter and team captain of Aoba Johsai. Despite his love and ambition for volleyball, he is talentless compared to his peers. As a result, with Aoba Johsai, he challenged and lost to Ushijima and Shiratorizawa many times, never making it to nationals. Because of his flirtatous personality and easygoing personality (when he's not playing volleyball), his most famous nicknames are Trasykawa, Assikawa, Crappykawa, Lazykawa, and Loserkawa.
