It could be installed on the aquarium without using a suction cup.
Depending on the height it is mounted at, the Violet Glass Mini Pipe may also create a good movement at the water surface, thus aerating the water.

Tips for install: Always wet the glass tubing before inserting the silicon or rubber tubing to avoid damaging glasswares.
