Discover gold panning with Prospector's Claim, a paydirt bag that is designed for beginners and kids. This smaller, introductory bag has a lot in common with our Quarter Gram bag. Each bag has a range of fines, flakes, and at least one small nugget. There are fewer small flakes and less of the black sand than our other products. Typical gold sizes range from #10 mesh to #20 mesh. We mix paydirt from our family's gold/platinum claim in Washington with Washington sands (both of which are unsearched and contain naturally occurring placer gold). Because our paydirt is unsearched and we want to offer gold in every bag, we source gold directly from miners in Alaska and Colorado and add at least .10 grams to every Prospector's Claim bag.
