Installation: To install, locate the sensor harness connector behind the hood switch mechanism, rotate the plug mechanism, and disconnect the original plug. Then, insert the new start-stop disabler wiring harness into the connector. After organizing the wiring, test the functionality. Step on the brake without flameout,indicating successful installation. Please refer to the provided images for detailed installation instructions.
After installation, restart the vehicle, and the auto stop/start button will automatically activate. The default setting eliminates the need to manually turn off the stop/start function each time. If you wish to re-enable the A-OFF function, simply press the A-OFF button to restore the function.
Package: Includes 1 auto start/stop disabler for the Chevy Equinox, along with two zip ties to help secure the wiring harness in place.
Note: The auto start/stop eliminator is available in two size options: the large plug is compatible with vehicles manufactured in 2018 or earlier, while the small plug is compatible with vehicles manufactured in 2019 or later.
