How to Connect and Use

Step 1: Check Compatibility
Ensure your vehicle has a built-in wired CarPlay function and locate a USB port that supports data transfer (not just charging). Compatible with iPhone 6 or later (iOS 10+) and select overseas Android Auto devices.

Step 2: Connect the Adapter
Plug the Smart Box-XXX into your car's USB port. For vehicles with USB-C ports, use the included USB-C adapter. Wait 15 seconds for the adapter to initialize (some cars may require selecting the CarPlay icon on the display).

Step 3: Pair Your Phone
Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your iPhone. In your phone's Bluetooth settings, find and select “Smart Box-XXX” to pair. Follow prompts to allow all permissions. Once paired, the CarPlay interface will automatically appear on your car's screen.

Step 4: Automatic Reconnection
After the initial setup, the adapter will reconnect automatically when you start the car. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled. For Android Auto, pair via Bluetooth, and Android Auto will launch without additional steps.

Key Notes for Stable Use

Keep your phone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled for uninterrupted connections.

Set the adapter's Wi-Fi network to “Auto-Join” in your phone's Wi-Fi settings.

If your car has custom features (e.g., 360° cameras), a temporary black screen may occur after connection—this is normal.

Troubleshooting Tips

No Connection? Reset your phone's network settings or test with another device.

Audio Issues? Ensure audio output is set to CarPlay in your phone's settings.
