  • This overcasting foot delivers a consistent and accurate overcasting stitch for serged effect using your sewing machines. Thread is locked around the edge of fabric (e.g ZZ shape), aligned with the edge, to prevent fabric from raveling.

Snap On Overcasting Presser Foot (G)
-- This foot mimics a serged/overlock effect in that it prevents raw edges from fraying by wrapping thread around the edges.

Instructions:
1. Select the wrapping stitch;
2. Install the side presser foot;
3. Lower the presser foot so that the presser foot guide abuts the edge of the fabric where it is needed.
4. Sew along the guide.
