When to Replace:
If you're dealing with a vehicle that's 10 years old and everything is basically rusted on there by the time this pump fails;
If your windshield washers don't spray or your washer fluid reservoir leaks, your vehicle may need to have its windshield washer fluid pump and grommet replaced.

Note:
There are videos on on how to change it, doesn't look really difficult, professional installation is highly suggested by any chance there were too many things to be removed in the front of the car.
