Ipu is a percussion instrument made from gourds that is often used to provide a beat for hula dancing.Made from dried gourds, that are hollowed and usually polished. It was very enjoyable to make an instrument out of gourd. I designed it with ropes and made the handle from leather.Do not hesitate to contact us for any pattern and color you desire.
