The large rubber tip helps soften contact with wall or door to prevent damage. The flexible construction allows stop to "flex" when vacuuming & then snap back to original shape. Simply Installation by fastening to surface with attached mounting screw. A wrench can be used on base plate to help screw stop into baseboard. Tools required: marking pencil, power drill, 3/32" drill bit and a wrench.
