After heating done, a beep will sound and the kettle will automatically start heating again when the temperature drops 5-7℉ below the set value. For 212℉ hot water, please make sure that the lid is closed when heating, otherwise the heat cannot collect sufficiently to bring the water temperature to 212℉ (depending on the ambient temperature).
