They can withstand temperatures of up to 500 degree F/(260 degree C). Double sided polyimide tapes offer an excellent performance in electrical and thermal insulation and has high dielectric strength. These tapes offer outstanding thermal endurance with excellent puncture and tear resistance. They conform to MIL SPEC MIL-P-46112 Type I. Applicable for high temperature masking, powder coating, protection of circuit board gold finger contacts during wave solder, solar panels, insulation on transformers, motors and coils, high or low temperature gasket sealing, serves as a splicing tape to join silicone-coated paper for film, bonding of silicone foams and gaskets for automotive and industrial applications. The product is designed to bond to silicone substrates as well as other difficult to bond surfaces. Excellent adhesion to silicone-coated substrates. Specialty treated, polyester release film allows easy unwind. High initial tack insures a strong bond. Resistant to many chemicals. Thickness: 4 Mil. Temperature rating: 500 degree F (260 degree C).
