This chirping bird ornament from Kurt Adler is a nostalgic addition to any holiday décor or Christmas tree. This silver colored glittered ball ornament, when switched on and the motion is activated chirps like a bird. Made of plastic. Uses 2 "AA" batteries (not included). With Motion sensor. NOTE: This item is great, howerver the sensor is not like your ring door bell that has sensitivity settings and picks up the slightest of movements. The bird sensor has limitations, its picks up movement at random at times, we like that and find it perfect actually to be more of what a bird would do. We have found that it also has to be in the right location, right hight, and so forth, with the branches not blocking it. It its to high it wont detect movement. Its just takes some minor trial and error. We have the item in our shop in our bird section. Customers love it, it goes chirps the majority of time if not someone just touched it or moved it is all to look at the price, which is very resonable, please keep that in mind as well. This is not heirloom quality merchandise we're talking about here. It's novelty item at best and does a great job chriping away! Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
