Memorex DVD-RW media can reliably be rewritten up to 1,000 times and can store up to 4.7 GB of data or approximately 120 minutes of video. Consumers can transfer home movies from VHS or 8mm cassettes, back-up computer hard drives or save large files with DVD-RW media. The larger storage capacities on DVD media, allows users to store at least 6.5 times more than on a CD-R/RW disc. Memorex DVD media allows for the preservation of favorite videos, precious photos, valuable data or an entire music library. The DVD-RW disc was developed for DVD-RW/-R drives.
