Mastisol Liquid Adhesive is used to adhere dressings and medical appliances to the body. Mastisol is a liquid medical adhesive used to ensure the integrity of dressings, tapes, and certain devices over an extended period of time. It may be used for the most difficult dressings over a protracted period of time. Mastisol is indicated for us with: Steri-strips , wound care dressings , monitor leads, endotracheal tubes, IV lines, central venous pressure lines, angiocatheters, tapes, surgical drapes, arterial lines, epidural tubing, feeding tubes, urine bags and many other uses. Matisol Liquid Adhesive is manufactured by Ferndale Laboratories to hold medicals devices and dressings firmly securely, easily and safely. Mastisol is not to be confused with Dermabond or similar products. It is not "liquid stitches." It is not intended to close wounds or incisions. Mastisol is to be used only on intact skin.
