About our Artist: Peru's Gelacio Giron says, 'I showed talent for the arts while still in school, and began to sell my woodwork and painted glass through an artisan cooperative. In 1997, I formed an association of craftspeople dedicated to Peruvian arts, and work with my three brothers in our own workshop. I feel very content that my work is appreciated in people's homes, and I share this happiness with my family.'
