The pipe absorbs the heat produced by the SSD and effectively conducts to the extensive aluminum fins. The passive design with no cooling fan is aiming for being totally silent. Two pieces pre-divided thermal pads included for excellent heat connection. 1.0mm and 1.5mm thickness option adapts to any NVMe memory
  • [Improved Mounting Post] – We don't think that the stock screw and washer mount the M.2 SSD appropriately in the memory compartment. ElecGear did it better with a re-designed fixing structure. The modified guide post, standard M.2 screw and even a PVC washer to adjust the height of SSD are included in the box
