The DC182 series of contactors is designed for direct current (DC) loads, especially motors used in applications such as industrial trucks, airport tugs/tractors, and similar equipment.
It features dual circuit-breaking main contacts tipped with silver alloy, making them resistant to welding, durable, and highly conductive.
The DC182's motor reversing contact circuit contains a built-in safety feature. If both coils are accidentally energized at once, the contact arrangement opens the circuit. This protects the load from potential damage.
