Set Up the Self-Leveling Laser: Position the laser at the highest point of the working area. Check for the light at the bottom indicating the level plane. Adjust the laser until perfectly level, using the built-in leveling mechanism if required.
Install the Self-Leveling Pins: Begin by spacing the pins approximately 3 feet apart across the floor area. Adjust spacing according to project requirements. Ensure pins are securely placed and not wobbling.
After placing the pins, use scissors or a cutting tool to trim each pin to the level indicated by the laser. This step ensures precise alignment with the desired level plane of the floor.
Pour the Self-Leveling Compound: Follow manufacturer's instructions for mixing and pouring the compound. Pour it evenly across the floor area, being cautious not to disturb the self-leveling pins.
Smooth and Finish: After pouring, use a smoothing tool or trowel to spread the compound evenly. Work swiftly yet carefully to achieve a smooth and level finish. Allow the compound to dry and cure per the manufacturer's recommendations before continuing with construction or installation.
