Description

This radar and antenna tower bundle pairs Simrad's HALO20+ high performance radar system with Scanstrut's sturdy, corrosion-resistant aluminum Powertower antenna mount. The HALO20+ radar provides nearly real-time 360° scanning at up to 60 RPM to identify potential hazards, along with pulse compression technology and dual 36 NM range modes to clearly detect both near and far targets simultaneously. Its built-in VelocityTrack Doppler technology instantly highlights approaching targets, while the compact 20" radome antenna design allows flexible mounting options. To provide an elevated mounting point for the radar dome and protect cabling, Scanstrut's APT-150-01 Powertower raises antennas up to 6" above the mounting surface. With corrosion-resistant aluminum construction, internal cable routing, and included cable inserts for all major marine radomes, this rugged antenna tower securely mounts radar systems and protects electrical connections. Paired together, the HALO20+ radar and Scanstrut antenna tower form a comprehensive collision avoidance and navigation system for vessels large and small.
