This MFT body cap was specially designed to protect the sensor on the Micro Four Thirds cameras like the BMPCC OG and Micro G2. Unlike all other MFT body caps–this cap physically locks into place. The lens release button must be depressed in order for the cap to be removed.

This design feature allows for superior protection to your camera during transit--relieving you of worry that the body cap may accidentally fall off during travel and allowing debris to reach the sensor.

The cap is machined out of high quality aluminum and anodized red. The aluminum makes it much more durable than the standard plastic cap. The red color makes it easy to find at the bottom of your bag--while also evoking the image of a red record button.

When coupled with the XLCS Cage, your M43 Camera will be nearly indestructible during transport--essentially making it possible to forgo a pelican case and allowing you to simply toss this into a backpack without worry of damage.
