This Rayzm practice pad is built on a 1.9 cm thick wooden plate with a yellow silicone top that resists wear and tear. The silicone top is 6mm thick, which provides an authentic drum feel with good rebound(soft, bouncy and responsive).
The diameter of the silicone playing surface is only 10.2 cm, a very small size of the playing zone helps you to work on precision drumstick hit and improve your drumming skills. It is surely a little practice pad, please check out the dimensions before you order it.
It is small and light that you can carry it in your pocket or put it in your bag for travelling. It is fitted with an adjustable strap that you could wrap the pad around your leg for warm-ups or practice anytime anywhere, perfect for either amateur or professional drummers.
It is very quiet when drumming that you have no worries about disturbing others. There is a threaded insert on the bottom of the pad for mounting to most standard 8mm cymbal stands.
The red wooden plate is rounded off the edges to reduce the sharpness and have a longer service life. The bottom side of the pad is covered with non skid EVA foam that allows for table top practice as well (considering the small size this pad has, it moves along when drumming on the table)
