This is for a single piece of magnetic shielding foil, 12" x 15" x 0.004" thick. Chemical composition: 80% Nickel, 5% Molybdenum, 15% Iron. This has been fully hydrogen annealed per mill specifications to optimize and maximize its magnetic / EMF shielding capabilities. This is NOT just sheetmetal, it's a very special and very expensive metal alloy designed and used for military EMF and EMI shielding applications. The hydrogen annealing is also a very expensive process that heats the material to around 2000 degrees F to optimize its shielding characteristics. This is THE Best Material Available for Shielding DC, ELF & VLF AC Magnetic Fields, which are emitted by ALL household appliances / devices like smart meters, electrical boxes, wireless phone chargers, televisions, electrical outlets, etc. This is ideal for use in smart meter shields for INSIDE the home (which is most important AND most smart meter shields ignore). This can be taped to the back of a painting or photo, which can then be hung indoors on the wall in front of where the electric meter is mounted, or overtop of the electrical box. Can also be used to protect users from microwaves, or any other devices using normal AC power (phone chargers, electrical outlets, etc). Multiple sheets can be used together by overlapping seams and taping with a magnetic shielding tape. This can also be cut to size using scissors or tin snips. This will ship rolled up and may have minor creases from the annealing / rolling process. However it will lay mostly flat with minimal effort. It can be easily bent by hand so that it stands up on its own CAUTION / SAFETY: Not intended for applications that require regular handling or contact with bare skin. The material itself is perfectly safe, however it is VERY sharp along the entire perimeter of the part. It may also cause skin irritation to those with Nickel allergies.
