This Promaster sliding door handle is a quick and easy replacement for the small and flimsy stock handle. The additional leverage and deep finger scoops make for easy opening and pulling of the sliding door, especially for passengers with limited hand strength and dexterity (i.e. arthritic hands & kids). No special tools needed for installation.
This replacement handle is injection-molded out of glass-reinforced nylon for ultimate durability. It has steel reinforcement bearing at pivot point for repetitive high-stress loads. We added a hook on the handle for easy access to indoor/outdoor items such as keys, trash bags, and backpacks. The design of this handle is specific to the Dodge Ram Promaster and is useable for all model years.
