How to install:The distributor cap and rotor kit is located under the car's hood. Open the hood and look for a black component near the centre of the engine. The distributor caps are stress-relieved immediately after molding to ensure dimensional stability. Symptoms of a bad or failing distributor cap: The CEL is illuminated, the vehicle does not start, the engine idles rough. If you find the distributor cap worn out or cracked, replace it immediately.
High Performance:Features hi-perf. 60k V-rated alkyd compound, stress-relieved at molding to ensure stability.Brass inserts provide for high spark energy flow.Compression molded caps are stress-relieved immediately after molding in special fixtures to ensure dimensional stability.High conductivity, corrosion resistant brass or copper inserts and stainless steel rotor springs provide unrestricted spark energy flow.
Note:Spark plug wires can be attached to the distributor cap. Be very careful when you are removing the cap so as not to detach these wires from the distributor cap.
