How to maintain the ignition coil of a motorcycle
1.The outer surface of the ignition coil should be kept clean. The inside should be protected from moisture to maintain its good insulation properties.
2.The connection between the ignition coil high-voltage lead screw and the high-voltage line should be firm and reliable. If the connection is loose, the discharge is likely to occur and the connection portion is burnt.
3.One end of the secondary winding of the ignition coil is connected to the spark plug through the high voltage line and the spark plug cap, and the high voltage wire spark plug cap is prevented from being loosened during use. When the high voltage line or the spark plug cap is detached, the high voltage generated by the secondary winding is raised to the limit value determined by the working capacity due to the open circuit of the load, which easily causes the breakdown of the secondary winding to be damaged.
