Rvhouse underbelly tape is not only matches the texture and looks of bottom under fabrics but is a permanent fixture once correctly applied. It delivers great wearing resistant, corrosive resistant, UV resistant, yet flexible, high viscosity with excellent sealing quality and durability.
A must have on hand for any work on the underbelly of mobile homes, trailers, sheds, RVs, homes, and other residential applications no matter you are experienced or not, this tape will provide an ease and neat repair for you.
Sanding off plastic rough underbelly material, well cleaning on the surroundings is necessary before applying this tape and it is required to make complete contact with surface without bubble and wrinkles. Please allow 2-3 inch overlap on the old belly material for longer lifespan.
The specially engineered adhesive applies easily; no curling and the braided fabric will become a seamless part of the original fabric with reinforced strength. Once it is used, almost instantly it becomes nearly impossible to remove, make sure you stick to the right spots.
Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended; for best bonding strength, warm the tape a little bit by hair dryer is necessary in cold temperature. We offer 3 different width, 4”, 6” and 8”; all comes with optimized thickness and pressure sensitive butyl adhesive.
