Sil-Glyde Brake Lubricant stops disc brake squeal, and it won't burn off like pink/blue adhesive material. It is moisture-proof, compatible with rubber, and recommended for the entire brake assembly (including pads, caliper slides, piston bores, mounting bolts, boots, seals, and backing plate contacts). The lubricating properties also make it easier to rebuild and assemble the components.
