The Waffle One is a modern interpretation of early Nike performance running shoes like the LDV, Waffle Racer, and Daybreak, all of which were instrumental in Nike's success as a footwear brand during the running sneaker boom of the 1970s. Here, the Waffle One features a white mesh base with contrasting grey suede overlays on the toe, eyelets, and heel. A Summit White leather Swoosh graces both sides and a white Swoosh is embroidered on the collar on the back of the shoe.
