How to use:
1. Holds the ferro rod near the tin at an angle of 45 degrees. (dead grass or weeds, shaved from fine wood, dry, strips of twine, drying lint or cotton balls... everything makes a good dyer).
2. Place a puncher near the top of the rod (so it makes solid contact with the rod).
3. Pull the bar back (away from the dyer) with a slow and stable movement.

● Tip:
Many people will hold the ferro rod next to the tinder and rub the scraper into the plaster.
By pulling the back bar (instead of rubbing the scraper forward), you will create a spark in the same place. But you will do it without the risk of hitting the scraper on your dye hair and scattering it all over the place.

● Note:
Because Ferro rods contain iron, they are often coated to prevent oxidation. You will need to scratch the coating to expose the shiny metal before the first use.
