HOW IT WORKS
Comprised with two layers, this mat is designed to capture more litter so less ends up on your floors. Position the mat right outside your cat's litterbox. As your cat exists the litter box, litter that is stuck to their paws will be captured within the large honeycomb holes on the top layer of the mat. The litter falls through the holes to become trapped in the bottom, leak-proof layer.

Tips
1.Eliminate peculiar smell: This mat occasionally has a little smell when it's just been opened. It is a normal phenomenon because it's made of EVA material.You could use a hairdryer or put it in a ventilated place for up to two days, the smell will disappear.
2. Prevent leakage: The bottom layer is flat. So if there are too much liquid on it,it will probably flow to the floor. Please clean it in time or put a cat pee pad on the bottom layer in case.

Note:
Cats are wary of anything new. When you first start using it, your cat will not want to step on it but jump right over the mat. Please give the mat a chance, your cat just needs an adjustment time
