The powerhead aquarium are ideal for creating water flow in your aquarium to eliminate dead spots and provide vital flow for corals and filtration through live rock. Wavemakers are considered vital in marine tanks for this reason but are also frequently used in large freshwater tanks to provide extra flow and keep waste in suspension so that it can be removed by the filtration system.

These new model wavemakers are available in a choice of 2 sizes – (JVP130 with a flow rate of 1050gph, JVP230 with a flow rate of 1600gph).

Please Note: Double head are high powered wavemakers and move a lot of water. The flow rate is very high on these pumps, so we do not recommend using them in aquariums smaller than 20 Gallons.
This new design boasts 360 degree rotation to allow a full range of flow directions inside the aquarium. Please Note: The multi-head models are not individually adjustable.
