Replacement Tether System Includes 10' Tether, Grommet, and 2 piece coupler that snaps through foam. Works for all pads that are 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" regardless of number of ply. To replace or to add a Tether Kit on your Aqua Lily Pad, all you need to do is drill a 2” hole in your pad, and snap in one of our Tether Kits. The foam washers, included in the Tether Kit are required for all 2-layer Aqua Lily Pads that are 1 3/8" thick. The 3-layer Bullfrog pads do not require installation of the foam washers. When considering placement of an additional Tether Kit, Caution needs to be taken to not restrain your pad from both ends. Tether System Advantage. Our in-house engineered tether kits are designed with our customers in mind. We innovate out of safety for your family and friends, as our tether kits will not heat up in the sun and cause no hazard like metal rings would in other products. Some of our competitors' metal rings can cause injury if landed on incorrectly. Our tether rings are made out of engineered plastics and contain no sharp edges. If a customer requires an additional tether system, our Tether Kits feature a proprietary tether snap (grommet) that allows for easy installation. The spring clip on the tether will never corrode because we use a heavy duty marine-grade nylon clip.
