We start with Pinewood Pro's PRO nickel-plated two-groove machined axles.
Next we bend them 2.5 degrees so you can cant your wheels, which drives the wheel away from the car body to minimize wheel-car body friction.
Then we cut an Easy Turn slot in the axle head so you can easily turn the axle with a screwdriver without damaging it.
Lastly, we graphite-coat the shaft of the axle so the graphite stays on your axles...right through the District Race!

Axle head is not graphite-coated.
It is very difficult to see a 2.5 degree bend with the naked eye. Roll the axle on a flat surface to see the bend as it rolls.
