Dandelion (Taraxacum officinal) is a common flowering plant found abundantly in all temperate zones of the Northern Hemisphere. Considered by some to be a nuisance weed with no redeeming properties, Dandelion Root is a source of many naturally occurring compounds including carotenoids, fatty acids, flavonoids and phytosterols.
