1.Need a replacement power cord for your CB Radio?
--This cb power cord 3-pin plug, with a built-in fused cigarette lighter plug can be used to replace power cords on most CB Radios. The green indicator light will let you know if the cord is plugged in correctly and working.
2.Will this cord work with a uniden 980ssb radio?
--YES, as long it's 12 volt.
3.How do you connect your CB radio wires to this?
--If your CB has a standard 3-pin socket on the back, this will plug into that directly. If not, you would just need to cut off the 3 pin side of this power cord and splice the red and black wires to your CB's red/black power wires.
Most modern cb radios have the same plug that is in the picture.
If you have an older radio with no plug-in and just the black and red wires hanging out, snip the black plug off and use a simple wire connector.
This just plugs into the back of your CB radio and your lighter.
