Description

The ISO-232-3P9 is an industrial-grade, high speed port powered, bi-directional 5000V (5000Vrms min AC) optically isolated RS232 port 3 wire isolator in a 9 pin format which will operate reliably up to almost 1 mbps, it optically isolates the 3 lines: TX, RX, and GND which effectively protects your RS232 devices from transient surges, lightning strikes, ground loops and noise issues, the unit is powered from the RS232 data lines so no external power is necessary. It also supports data direction auto-turnaround requiring no flow control. The ISO-232-3P9 has a DB9 female connector on one RS232 side and a DB9 male connector on the other RS232 side. This converter operates from 300 to 912,600 baud. MEAN TIME BEFORE FAILURE: 306,066 Hours
