This adapter board is a mini design,1.8"micro SATA16 ( 7+7+2, female, connected to Micro SATA device) to SATA22 (7+15, male, connected to SATA data cable),It is used to convert 1.8" 3.3v micro SATA HDD/SSD to 2.5" SATA 5v HDD/SSD.
It's used for 1.8" micro SATA install into 2.5"SATA plug in notebook.
There is a chip inside to automatically adjust the voltage.The data and power adapter supplies a 3.3V power source and supports 5V Drives ,has dual function...it is the same size as a 2.5" drive when paired with a micro SATA 1.8"drive.
It is a green printed circuit board without shell.
