A Nylon Shell For The Small Expensive Things

Photography accumulates small objects. Spare cards, a charging cord, a plug, earbuds for the walk between locations, a watch that comes off when a strap gets in the way. This Eccris pouch gives all of them one address. The deep compartment takes a compact camera on its own, or a coiled charging cable and a two prong plug together, or an earbud charging case. The shallow front pocket takes the cards and a USB flash drive so they stay flat and easy to pick out in a hurry.

The shell is water resistant nylon, and that is the working part of the specification rather than a line on a label. Fabric that sheds damp instead of drinking it is what lets a pouch sit on a stone wall after a shower, ride in the outer section of a bag on a misty morning, and come home from a lakeside path needing nothing more than a wipe with a damp cloth.

Black binding and black zipper tape are the other quiet decision. Those are the parts that take the handling on a case this size, so they are dark against a colored body.
