  • CONNECTS U.FL (IPX/MHF1) INTERNAL PORT TO STANDARD SMA FEMALE ANTENNA JACK: The U.FL connector (also called IPX, MHF1, or MHF) is the snap-on micro connector found on Mini PCIe WiFi cards, FPV video transmitters, Meshtastic nodes, GPS modules, and some T-Mobile home internet gateway internal boards. This 5cm pigtail bridges the internal U.FL port to a chassis-mounted SMA Female bulkhead jack — allowing any standard SMA Male antenna to connect to your device. Hear a firm click on insertion to confirm the U.FL end is fully seated.
  • ⚠️ U.FL (MHF1) NOT MHF4 — CHECK YOUR CONNECTOR SIZE BEFORE ORDERING: U.FL (IPX / MHF1) is approximately 2mm wide and used on Mini PCIe cards, older routers, and GPS modules. MHF4 is smaller (1.8mm) and used on M.2 NGFF WiFi cards in modern laptops. These two connectors are NOT interchangeable. If your device is a newer M.2 card (Intel AX200, AX210, Killer WiFi 6E), you need an MHF4 cable — see our MHF4 to SMA listing instead. If your device is a Mini PCIe card or has a larger snap-on U.FL port, this cable is correct.
  • 1.13mm ULTRA-THIN CABLE FOR TIGHT ENCLOSURE ROUTING: Standard RG178 coax at 1.8mm is too bulky for Mini PCIe enclosures, compact routers, and FPV drone frames with minimal internal clearance. The 1.13mm cable here routes through chassis knockout holes, alongside ribbon cables, and around PCB components without kinking or creating pressure points on adjacent components.   • 5CM LENGTH — RIGHT FOR DIRECT CARD-TO-PANEL MOUNT IN COMPACT ENCLOSURES: 5cm is the correct length when the Mini PCIe card or module sits directly beside the chassis SMA port — common in compact embedded routers, industrial IoT gateways, and small form-factor wireless builds. Excess cable length in tight enclosures must be folded back on itself, increasing EMI pickup and mechanical stress at the U.FL snap joint.
