Kellner eyepieces are a further development of the classical Kellner design. They have a more comfortable viewing position and better off-axis definition. High-level craftmanship, the lenses are multi-coated and have blackened edges and a blackened interior. Offers the budget-conscious amateur stargazer an excellent alternative to more sophisticated and expensive eyepieces. If high transmission is essential, Kellner eyepieces are highly recommended. The Kellner eyepiece design uses a minimum of glass-air surfaces. The Modified Achromatic design features an optical advancement over the traditional Kellner and gives sharp, faithful lunar, planetary, and deep-space images. This eyepiece is threaded to accept standard 2" filters, includes a rubber eyecup for comfortable viewing and is fully multicoated. Dust caps are included.
