This dust collection adapter is assigned with the specific task of connecting your 4” inner diameter dust collection hose to a 6” ID version. Ultimately, this reducer was designed to help enhance the performance of your dust collection system by increasing air velocity between the hoses and your shop vac or dust collection system. This will provide you with a cleaner and safer working environment. Please Note: These dust collector reducer fittings will not connect directly to dust collection ports, nor fit PVC pipes or other plastic fittings without the proper connector. They are meant to act as “step-down” reducers to connect your hoses.
