Pre-Purchase Information:
This is an infrared filter that absorbs most visible light while allowing infrared light to pass through. Please refer to the graph below for the specific spectral curve.
If you've seen a video demonstrating the use of an infrared filter for X-ray vision, this product can indeed block visible light. However, this is only effective if your phone or camera is capable of infrared photography.
Standard smartphone cameras are equipped with infrared-absorbing filters, so they can only detect a very small amount of infrared light. Therefore, simply attaching this infrared filter to a smartphone will have virtually no effect.
If you wish to capture infrared see-through images, you must first modify your device to remove the infrared cutoff filter from the camera lens.
Now, regarding seeing through objects: while infrared can provide this capability, not everything is transparent to infrared light. Only objects that are themselves permeable to infrared light can be seen through. For example, the black casing of a power bank or the floor indicator panel in an elevator can be completely seen through, revealing what's inside. In real life, the vast majority of objects cannot be seen through!!!
