Description

Edo Glass: The faucet and body are individually grounded by artisans, using the traditional method, making it pure soy sauce pouring. A simple and easy-to-use design that has been made since the first time. Edo Glass is a hand-crafted glassware that has been tradition since the Edo period. The quality of handmade glassware is unlike mass produced by machines, each one is one of a kind original. This product has a deep taste and a unique design and depth that can be created by craftsmen. Certified by Tokyo Traditional Arts in 2002.
Iwasawa Glass started manufacturing glass in the Goto-City, in 196, and it was temporarily interrupted by a company during war and resumed in Sumida City in 1965. Each product is handmade according to the tradition of "Edo Glasses" under two traditional craftspeople in Tokyo. Originally produced primarily for lenses (car and motorcycle lights), oil pouring (screw opening), but now we carry a wide variety of glassware such as tableware, vases, paperweights, trophies, etc.
