The stepped space wedge is designed with workplace convenience and safety in mind. One end features a sharp edge that can be used to scrape away weld slag and inspect weld porosity. Additionally, it is equipped with a “fall arrest hole” for attaching a safety lanyard, effectively preventing the tool from accidentally falling from scaffolding or other elevated surfaces and enhancing safety during work at heights.
