This Boat Skeg Repair Guard protects your skeg from damage caused by ramps, rocks, or hidden debris. It helps prevent wear and tear and can even be used to replace a broken skeg.
Made from strong, durable 18-gauge marine-grade 316 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish. Includes self-locking hardware, male and female locking screws, a 1/4-inch drill bit, and hex key tools.
The 3mm thick lower wear tab helps prevent damage when dragging on ramps. A drain hole at the bottom lets water escape, stopping rust or freezing.
This Skeg Guard is a low-cost way to repair or replace a broken skeg. It can be installed even if only 2–3 inches of the upper skeg are left. Simply slide it on, tap it into place, and secure it with the included hardware,no welding needed. Each kit includes self-locking screws and hex wrenches.
